ELF $1 Lipstick

Being totally disappointed last time when they didn't have it in stock and didn't bother to tell me, I reordered it again and finally got two of them =D. This time I got classy and voodoo.
Left: Classy (Raspberry Pink Color), Right: Voodoo (darkish red color)

These come with a cheap, plastic case with a clear window in the middle. The only flaw with this packaging is how the lipstick doesn't go all the way down, so when you try to put the lid on, you could risk chipping the lipstick itself.
Also when they came, the sides were all dirtied which I don't really like. But the good thing is they smell really nice, just like raspberries. YUM~ They are really pigmented and quite creamy.
Classy

Voodoo

Left to right: Voodoo, Classy

Conclusion:
-price: A+ ($1 each!)
-packaging: C+
-product quality: C+
-Overall quality: C+
-Buy again? No (I have too many lip products right now)

Quick tip: Lipstick stain

Have you ever got a lipstick that you never ended up using? Or a lipstick that you aren't liking from a gift with purchase? Well now, there is a use for it =D. Sure you can just give it to your mom, but why not use it as a cheek tint? Here I have a Clinique lipstick in "Rose aglow" and is a little too dark for my liking.Take your third finger and dab it on the apples of your cheeks. Then run your second, third and fourth fingers under the water and gently blend the lipstick so it doesn't look like a giant blob. ANNNNDD voila, instant cheek stain! Btw, my nails are ELF Desert Haze and i'm LOVING IT!

ELF studio brush set

YEY finally, I have all of the studio brushes. My collection is sooooo complete. I almost have every product in the ELF studio line. Lets have a closer look, shall we?Inside the set comes with a small brochure of what the set includes.
The case is actually smaller then I expected it to be, but it is function-able. Its not the best case, but hey if you got it for 50% ($15) it doesn't really matter that much =P. All of the brushes are made from taklon bristles and are all very very soft. They all come nicely packaged with plastic covers, but only the face brushes comes with a case guard.
Angled Foundation Brush- This is actually really nice, I really didn't expect it. Its really nice and dense and the unconventional angle to the brush hugs the face really nicely for a more precise usage.Blush Brush- Has a nice tapered point which is good for highlighting, bronzing and, of course, blush. This isn't the typically fluffly big brush, but a nice small brush. Its almost the same size as our cheeks.Complexion Brush- A fluffy, tapered brush for a light dusting of powder. Its constructed with a narrow bottom and goes up fluffy.Concealer brush- Just the perfect size and shape for blending out concealer. Whether it is a small pimple or using it as a under eye brush, this brush as the right density to do the job.Contour Brush (aka. pencil brush)-A round brush tapered to a point for the precise application in the eyelid crease. Its good for either blending or making that sexy smoked out look.Eyeshadow C brush (also commonly known as the imfamous $1 eyeshadow brush with an upgrade)- Nice dense brush to pack on color.Fan Brush- Brush to sweep away fall out. Powder Brush- #1 best seller of the studio line, the infamous POWDER BRUSH! It is a multi-tasking brush that cane be used with powders, liquids or creams. This brush gives the nice airbrushed look and is good for buffing in powders and liquids.Small Angled Brush- I don't know if they changed this brush or its just a different one when you get it in a set. I bought this one for my mom before and this one seems way nicer, denser and thicker. Its good for filling in brows or lining your eyes.
Small Precision Brush- Another small brush eh? Good for applying eyeshadow on the tear duct area or concealing a blemish.Small Smudge Brush- Wow and I thought the ELF concealer brush was small, but boy was I wrong eh? I was quite surprised when I used it as a eye lining brush. WORKS WONDERS =O. Try it XD.

Conclusion:

-price: A+ ($15 for the whole set with a 50% off studio coupon code)

ELF tone correcting concealer vs MAC moisture blend

When I first got the tone correcting concealer, immediately I thought it looked like a dupe for MAC's moisture blend. And it really is a good dupe for the MAC's moisture blend. The packaging is the same, comes with the doe foot applicator and the size is the same. I don't' know how much product the ELF one comes with but MAC comes with 5 mL.
They both have a liquidity formula and is very light weight. I know a lot of people don't like the ELF one because they can't find the right shade, but luckily for me Light Beige is the perfect color for a NC20-25. The color is a way better color match then my MAC one. In my opinion, I'd buy the ELF one any day. Compared to $1 or $20 bucks, which one would you pick?
As you can see, the MAC one is wayyy more orange (just noticed that its NW20...and I'm a NC, argh) then the ELF one. Frinking love the ELF one wayyyy more. Both of them are non-drying and are easy to blend. Thumbs up ^^
Conclusion for ELF tone correcting concealer:
-price: A+ ($1 each)
-packaging: A
-product quality: A
-Overall quality: A

ELF nail polish

Dayum...I love these nail polishes. They're only a buck each and the colors are GORGEOUS! LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE. I think I might collect all of them.

ELF company claim: "This color-lock formula with chip resistant shield gives long lasting nail color with high shine. The aerodynamic bristle design glides color on flawlessly, while the quick dry formula gives perfect application every time. Key nutrients give nails that natural shine, infused with Vitamin E for stronger, healthier nails. Our formula is FREE of: Toluene, Formaldehyde, and Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP). "

Most of the nail polish names do match the colors, so props to that.
I only have 12 of them right now. Sad I know but i can't really use nail polish in my upcoming culinary arts program because its a health hazard. :'( But i can use them for my toes =).

The only down fall about these are they aren't as good as OPI or essie nail polishes and only last about 3-5 days. If you have a good base coat and top coat, they can survive about 4-7 days max. But for me, all is forgiven for the fact that it doesn't smell toxic, are only a buck each and have fabulous colors

The only problem I have with these are the lids. A lot of them when you twist, the lid doesn't always match to the bottle.

Definition of my description:
Flat finish: no shimmer, no glitter, no nothing. Just a flat color with a shiny finish.
Sheen: contains fine shimmers causing a nice sheen when the light hits.
Desert Haze (creamy nudeish color with the light grey/brown twist; no shimmer->flat)-top fav. COLOR!! The picture doesn't do the beautiful color any justice. =(
Mint cream (pastel light mint cream color; no shimmers->flat color)- This one I was most excited but most dissapointed too. The color is really nice and very trendy right now with thee fashion world, but mine came with a messed up bristle, making it impossible to be not streaky.

Chocolate (dark chocolate broown color;->flat color)- This really surprised me. Although this does make me think of poop color, all you need is one coat for the true color to be revealed. This is also a nice alternative to black. =)
Dark Navy (dark royal navy color; sheen)- Really nice color even though I'm not really into dark colors. Do like this color a lot.
Mod Mauve (Berry mauvey color; flat)- This also is another color I love. The perfect mixer of a darkish color with that little twist.

Champagne (Light peachy color with silver shimmers; sheen finish)
Bubblegum Pink (Barbie neon pink; flat finish)
Passion Pink ( Neon pinkish orange; flat finish)- Kinda reminds be of the 80's XD. Burgundy (Burgundy color with a golden sheen; sheen finish)- This one reminds me a lot of chinese lanterns and red pockets. Its the perfect shade of burgundy (its not a red though) with the beautiful hint of golden sheen.
Fire Coral (neon orange; flat finish)Coral (more pink color with hint of golden then a coral; sheen finish)
My babies on my shelve stacked nicely on my DIY nail polish stand. Looks like girl's eye candy with all those beautiful colors. =3

-price: A+ ($1 each)
