Another OMG moment? Oh geez....ELF?!?!

O....M....G. Elf just released tons of new brushes in the mineral line. It looks sooooooo nice, I'm placing an order now now now!! Why is ELF doing this to me. This would be like my 13th haul xD. BTW all of these new brushes are $5...kind of pricey for ELF but hey, I love buying their products. The whole packaging of the brushes remind a lot of the CVS Essence of Beauty Brushes, don't they?

Blending Eye Brush

Complexion Brush

Concealer Brush

Contour Brush

Flat Eyeliner Brush

Foundation Brush

Lash & Brow Comb

Lip Brush
Powder Brush

Smudge Brush

How come everytime I want to buy from ELF, they don't have the 50% coupon codes for minerals or studio. I do remember one time when there was a coupon for both at the same time and the 60% coupon code a few days later. Those were the days.

OMG moment

OGMOGMOGMOMOGOGMOG I just saw my daily ELF newsletter and am SOOO EXCITED!! ELF Studio tinted moisturizer! When this comes out, I'm totally going to buy every shade >=D. I am in need of a good foundation/ tinted moisturizer.
Yes I know, I'm a big dork.

ELF beauty encyclopedia eye editions- Everday eye edition, Sparkle edition, Basic eye edition

Finally I have collected all of the beauty encyclopedia. I JUST LOVE 'EM. Worth ever penny (meaning only $5 each =D). All of them come with 12 eyeshadow colors, 2 cream eyeshadow, a brush/sponge applicator and a mini brightening eyeliner.
*WARNING*- These eyeshadows are very pigmented but are very soft causing a LOT of fall out.

Sparkle eye edition

It comes with a brown eyeliner and brush/ sponge applicator.
I'm not particularly loving the "sparkle" effects because it’s way too glittery to the point that’s its just pressed glitter. They do come with beautiful colors but they aren't pressed good enough so there is a lot of fall out. Top row: As you can see, the first two colors on the left are the "sparkle" shadows and there is absolutely no color at all.
Middle row: The blue is my favorite because it's a duo chrome (meaning it looks like one color, but when the light hits it becomes another color). It looks like a flat light sea blue but it has a golden property to it which reminds me of mermaids. Bottom Row
Out of the three eye editions, this one is the most inconsistent one out of all of them.

Conclusion:
-price: A+ ($1 each!)
-packaging: B
-product quality: C
-Overall quality: B
-Buy again? Maybe...most likely not

Basic Eye Edition- comes with a mini brightening eyeliner in black
Out of the three, this one is my favorite. The colors are beautiful and is the most consistent one. It comes with purples, golds, an orange and many more.
Top row: The first thing that surprised me was the first color on the left. In the pan, it looks like its a nice creamy light golden color but when swatched on the hand, its actually a sliver. I thought my brush was dirty or something xD.
Middle Row
Bottom Row
Conclusion:
-price: A+ ($5 each)
-packaging: B+
-product quality: B+
-Overall quality: B++
-Buy again? Maybe

Everyday Eye Edition -comes with a mini Brightening eye liner in Coffee
Out of the three, this definitely ranks a solid #2 but very close to being a #1. Surprisingly I really love the cream eyeshadows. In the past, I did buy all of the cream eyeshadow duos from the regular line and hated them, but this changes my judgement 180 degrees. The left cream is a nice light golden cream color and the right one is a darker bronze color. Both have a better consistency compared to the normal line and reminds me of UDPP's sin.
Top Row: I don't have any of the brightening eye quads, but I'm 100% sure that this is "Drama". Middle rowBottom Row
Conclusion:
-price: A+ ($5 each)
-packaging: B+
-product quality: B+
-Overall quality: B++
-Buy again? Maybe

ELF $1 Lipstick

Being totally disappointed last time when they didn't have it in stock and didn't bother to tell me, I reordered it again and finally got two of them =D. This time I got classy and voodoo.
Left: Classy (Raspberry Pink Color), Right: Voodoo (darkish red color)

These come with a cheap, plastic case with a clear window in the middle. The only flaw with this packaging is how the lipstick doesn't go all the way down, so when you try to put the lid on, you could risk chipping the lipstick itself.
Also when they came, the sides were all dirtied which I don't really like. But the good thing is they smell really nice, just like raspberries. YUM~ They are really pigmented and quite creamy.
Classy

Voodoo

Left to right: Voodoo, Classy

Conclusion:
-price: A+ ($1 each!)
-packaging: C+
-product quality: C+
-Overall quality: C+
-Buy again? No (I have too many lip products right now)

Quick tip: Lipstick stain

Have you ever got a lipstick that you never ended up using? Or a lipstick that you aren't liking from a gift with purchase? Well now, there is a use for it =D. Sure you can just give it to your mom, but why not use it as a cheek tint? Here I have a Clinique lipstick in "Rose aglow" and is a little too dark for my liking.Take your third finger and dab it on the apples of your cheeks. Then run your second, third and fourth fingers under the water and gently blend the lipstick so it doesn't look like a giant blob. ANNNNDD voila, instant cheek stain! Btw, my nails are ELF Desert Haze and i'm LOVING IT!
