Unboxing: Memebox special #50 Step by step skincare

When this box came out, I was super duper excited because the first skincare box, click here to check it out, was really awesome and anything skincare, I'm down for.  So when the second edition under a different name, but the same theme, I bounced on that so fast, it wasn't even funny.  Buying this box was a complete blur LOL.

I got this box two days ago with my Etude House pink bird box, but got crazy excited with the Etude House box. So the unboxing for this was slightly delayed but I have brought it to you now :).
#50 Step-By-Step Skincare
$29.00 + shipping
Sneak peek ;), just to tease you.

Make sure to check out the coupon codes at the end and comment down below to tell me what you think about this box!
 The usual information card~
This looks like a really solid box.  I'm liking it already!
Everyone in the memebox community has been freaking out about the Mizon Alcohol toner mojito, so it makes it that much better I got to try it and it came in this box :).  Not so sure about the "alcohol" in the name though, it would dry my skin out too much :S.
Oh la la~  This goes very well with the first box.  I likey!
The first product is Mizon Alcohol toner mojito retailing for $22 and contains 150 mL.  This is a full sized product and measures 4.5 cm x 17 cm.

I'm not going to open this just yet since I do have two other toners I am trying to get through.  I honestly am really lazy when it comes to a very elaborate skincare.  I usually just use my cleanser, bioderma michelle solution, eye cream and moisturizer.  It works for me and my skin does not freak out. For those of you that has tried it before, can you tell me if it dries out your skin and what skin type do you have?

Product description:
Fancy a bottle of mojito for your skin?  This unique facial toner is formulated with all the ingredients found in a glass of mojito- lime, sugar cane, sparkling mineral water, apple and peppermint leaf juice!  The lime complex will refresh and deliver abundant nutrients to dry, tired skin.

How to use:
Apply to face with a cotton pad with your hands.  Use it right after cleansing as the very 1st step into skincare.
Here's the ingredients!  Hmm... alcohol is pretty high up there.
The bottle is super cute, a lime green color in a plastic wine looking shape. :D  So fun!
The second product is insobeau Super yellow intense renew essence retailing for $78 and contains 30 mL.  This is a full sized product, smell-o-scale= 4/10 and the fragrance is a light scent of herbs.

After I took notice of insobeau from the heavenly scented insobeau scrub in the scrub box, I checked out their other products and was super interested to try them out but I didn't wanna buy more skincare products since I have a shelve full right now that needs to be loved by me :(.  So I got super excited when I opened the box and saw this!  It is so frinkin expensive man!  $78!!! THAT'S CRAZY~  The glass bottle and the metal lid just makes it that much more luxurious feeling.  It's wow... I'm going to have fun using this product :D.  I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it it does brighten and plump up my wrinkles. I have pretty deep smile lines, and if it does help them go away, holy grail!!

Product description:
An anti-aging facial essence made with a special idebenone formula for effectively treating fine lines and wrinkles as well as brightening up uneven and dulled complexion.

How to use:
After toner application, apply a dimer-size amount of essence evenly over face and pat it in for full absorbency.

The product also comes with a metal gold pump. OOhhhhh yea~

The essence is light weight, very yellow in color and soaks into the skin very fast. No residue is left except it leaves my skin nice and soft :).
The third product is Migabee royal jelly and honey energy ampoule retailing for $30 and contains 12 mL.  This is a full sized product and it measures 2 cm x 7.5 cm.

The bottle for this product is so tiny!  I wonder why...  I am enjoying the fact that we are getting tons of Migabee honey products, and I can't wait to try it all as a whole skincare regime.  I have their peeling gel, moisturizer and now the ampoule.  I'm curious to see what honey can do for my dry dry skin.

Product description:
A highly concentrated facial ampoule enriched with nutrition-rich royal jelly and royal honey extracts.  It will soothe, moisturize and strengthen skin's natural protective barrier.

How to use:
After essence application, apply a couple drops of ampoule evenly over face and pat it in for full absorbency.
The fourth product is She's Uris Rice water double action retailing for $42 and contains 80 g.  This is a full sized product and it measures 6 cm x 5.5 cm and it comes in a glass jar!

I was so surprised when I got the box,  it was super heavy!  I thought it would weight like the normal boxes, but wow this box is at least the second heaviest box I have gotten.   This moisturizer claims to be  hydrating and brightening for the skin which is two things I look for in any skincare product.  Looking forward to using this, not much for me to say haha.

And am I the only one.  I'm reading the "she's uris" but it looks like "she's uterus" to me >_>.  This is why sleep is good people, this is why sleep is good.

Product description:
A moisturizing water drop type facial cream.  This rice water double action is a smart, multifunctional cream for hydrating, tone brightening, and wrinkle refining.  Its formula includes rice bran water, adenosine, cacao extracts, and various herbal ingredients.

How to use:
Apply directly to face and pat it in for full absorbency.

This cream is very light weight, and I'm not sure if it would be able to heal my dry skin, but I can see myself using this with tons other products such as essence, serums and oils to make it work.  It soaks into the skin right away and leaves my skin soft and slightly moisturized.
The fifth product is Tony Moly my sunny milky sun cream SPF 35 PA+++ retailing for $10 and contains 45 g.  This is a full sized product and measures 3 cm x 13 cm.  Smell-o-scale= 4/10 and the fragrance smells slightly of sunscreen with a hint of soapy floral.

Sunscreen.... Not very exciting but useful nonetheless.  The end.

No seriously,  I got nothing to say about sunscreen.  Its... sunscreen XD.

Product description:
A mineral oil free sunscreen that works to color control uneven skintone and to protect skin from UV exposure.  It's extremely gently and it leaves skin silky soft and smooth, with a healthy glow.

How to use:
Apply directly to face at the very end of skincare routine.

This sunscreen looks like a normal sunscreen but once blended into the skin, it leaves a noticeable white cast. I'm not sure if it would work for my colored girls (and guys) out there, so be sure to watch out for that.  It brightens my pale skin, but it might end up looking ashy on my chocolate sistas.

But I'm glad to report that the sunscreen does not leave my skin greasy what so ever. I'll actually be looking forward to using this :D.
The last product is Taphre special care mask retailing for $7 and contains 25 mL.  This is a full sized product but as I always say, one face mask does not count as a full sized product unless it has two or three masks.

Sheet mask... LOL.  Again.. I got nothing.  I have tons and tons of sheet masks at this point.

Product description:
Enriched with propolis extracts, hyaluronic acid, collagen and various fruit and nut extracts, this special care mask helps replenish, repair, protect and soothe skin against dehydration and aging, for a much softer and more luminous complexion.

How to use:
Cleanse face and apply toner with a cotton pad.  Unfold the mask and spread it evenly over face, aligning the eyes, nose, and mouth properly.  Rest for 5-10 minutes, remove mask and pat in the remaining essence for full absorbency.

So what is my ending statement of this box.  This box compared to the skincare box is not as exciting, but this is a good box as a second edition if you had the first box.  Even if you didn't get the first box, this is a good box since it did hit pretty much every skincare need. There was a toner, essence, ampoule, moisturizer, sun screen and a mask so I'd say if I didn't get any other memeboxes previously, this would have been a great to live off of.  But because i have bought like 45+ memeboxes by now, this doesn't really excite me much.  I am surprisingly really excited for the sunscreen since I could use it as a brightening base and it gives me protection at the same time!  I can't wait to give the mizon toner a try but I'm scared it will dry my skin out :(.  I'd give this box a 4/5 stars.  A very good solid box, I give this box a thumbs up.

  1. That mojito bottle is so cute! I've been tempted to get the tequila one but I know I won't use it. Looks like a great box!

    1. Haha the bottle is cute but I'm cautious of the product because it says it is alcohol :S. It is a pretty good box :D, luckily keke

  2. hmm, alcohol in the in the product is not very good, I think. But the rest of the products look really good! *__*
    I missed this box :(
