I haven't even noticed, but it has been a week since I last posted. I've been taking care of the house since my parents are gone to vacation. Doing all different kinds of house work, and since I got nothing to do, cooking has been something really fun for me again. It's been a while since I got that spark of passion back for cooking as I do that for a living, it gets boring. Check my instagram, christinahello, if you are curious to see what I am cooking up. Currently I have made beef Pho from scratch, butter chicken and sushi. That butter chicken was goooood haha. Anyways I am continuing with my unboxings as I have a huge stack waiting for me to post, so let's get started with the Global 18 which was December 2014's box.

The line up looks pretty good for this global box. The global 17 to me was a slight dissapointment and was missing that wow factor. I'm glad I get to try the Bee tox control as I was eyeing that moisturizer from the lucky box 12 which had it but I didn't get the box so i missed out.
The first product is Purederm shower jelly retailing for $6 and contains 100 g. This is a full sized product and was randomly selected from 01 brightening milk or 02 cooling mint. I got 02 cooling mint, smell-o-scale= 7/10 and it smells just like toothpaste. Not the most pleasant scent for me since I don't really like the smell of mint, but it is passable.
I have tried something like this from Lush, which they call shower jelly. This is not as jiggly as Lush's, which is a good thing since it broke into pieces when I went to use it in the shower. It was a pain in the butt to be honest, and I'd rather just use rather liquid body soap. This one does come with a cotton baggie which I believe you can put the jelly in and tie it up so it doesn't slip and slide in your hands. I don't think I will be using this, but we shall see. I still like liquid soap for convenience reasons.
Jelly-textured beauty products are in-trend these days, but have you ever seen a shower gel designed into a pudding-like, jelly visual? Purederm's shower jelly comes in two options- Brightening milk and cooling mint- each catered to different skincare needs yet both extremely gentle and non-stimulating in formula. The fine bubbles, which can be easily created with simple lathering, penetrate deep into skin, and wash away all dirt, oil and impurities and leaves skin clean and fresh. It leaves a nice and subtle fragrance which helps to alleviate and refresh your spirits as well.
How to use:
Place the shower jelly into the bubbling net provided and soak it with water. Lather well and gently massage it all over the body. Rise off with water.
This is the little mesh cheese cloth like bag that comes with it. It's not very smart for me to be using a white background for white products eh? Haha
The second product is Dr. MJ bee tox control cream retailing for $50 (WHAT?!?!) and contains 55 mL. This is a full sized product, measuring 6 cm x 5 cm.
So happy I got this product in this box since it was the only thing I wanted in the past lucky box that I didn't get. The bottle is actually smaller then it looks from other people's picture, but it is so pretty! I love the cute hexagon box, and the bottle with the rose gold and the bee. Yes I am easily pleased with Korean packaging since they are a lot more appealing then American products. Anyways, I'm not going to open this just yet but I know a lot of people are very pleased with this product so I can't wait to try it out for myself. Hopefully I don't have allergies to bee venom HAHA.
Repair and renew with Dr. MJ's Bee tox control cream rich in skin-repairing agents bee venom, propolis extracts, tea tree leaf water, rosemary extracts and calendula extracts. It'll soothe, nourish and rejuvenate the skin damaged or stimulated from external environment by creating a protective moisture barrier over and retaining moisture and nutrition within the skin.
How to use:
Apply the cream evenly over clean face at the very last stage of skincare routine. Massage it in for full absorbency.
The third product is echoice hand therapy retailing for $2 and contains 60 g. This is a full sized product and was randomly selected from sweet rose and shea butter or cherry blossom and shea butter. I got cherry blossom and shea butter which I'm super happy about since rose is not a scent I prefer.
Not much to say, its hand cream. I don't usually appreciate hand creams since I'm very pick with the creams I use on my hands. I recently was attacked with eczema on my fingers and my palm, so I'm careful with what I put on. There is a slim chance I will try this, but highly unlikely.
Infused with shea butter and rose or cherry blossom extracts, this nourishing hand cream from echoice leaves hands dramatically softer and suppler, and your hands will smell of sweet floral garden all day long.
How to use:
Massage the hand cream into clean hands until fully absorbed. Reapply as needed.
The fourth product is Pure smile animal point pad retailing for $1 and contains 17 mL. This is a full sized product and was selected randomly from guava or pineapple. I got guava.
This is my fourth time getting the same product from the same company. I still have yet to try these point pads, but i might actually try it this time around as it is guava scented :D. I love me some tropical fruits. Pure smile has really cute designs too, with doughnut print, fruit, even animal faces. So cute :D. My skin has been super dry lately, and I'm really looking into getting those humidifier like the ones they have in dramas to help my skin from the cold and house heaters. My poor skin :(.
This is a point mask pad perfect for moisturizing and soothing dry, stimulated or troublesome part of your face and body in one easy 15 min treatment. it's formulated with a rich blend of guava or pineapple extracts, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and natto gum.
How to use:
Cleanse and tone your face. Place the point pads over parts of your face or body that you wish to give special treatments. Remove the sheet pads after 5-10 minutes and pat in the remaining essence for full absorbency.
The fifth product is Derma lift intensiderm aqua rich cream retailing for $45 for 50 mL. The samples contain 15 mL each, so 45 mL in total, almost the full sized amount.
Not going to open these yet either since I have a huge box of moisturizers to go through, but I could easily use one of these up so I might be trying them soon. I'm really happy that they gave us three samples instead of just one. I'm actually super surprised since they don't usually give us this many small samples of the same product. Thumbs up for memebox!
This is a gentle, moisture-rich facial cream formulated specifically to soothe and repair damaged skin and to prevent further stimulation or damage with a protective moisture barrier. Deeply replenish and nourish your skin this cold season with Derma lift intesiderm Aqua rich cream!
How to use:
Squeeze out the formula from its tube and spread it evenly over clean face. Gently pat it in with clean hands for full absorbency.
The last product is touch by lee kyung min extreme shield master retailing for $46 and contains 2.2 mL. This is a full sized product, measuring at 1 cm x 12.5 cm.
Oh... my... god. This is definitely a product I will be using. This is suppose to help dry, flaky skin. THAT IS ME. THAT IS ME!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to try this product right after I finish this post!!
Lee Kyung Min is a Korean creative director famous for her winter skincare beauty class and the secret to premium skincare fit for the colder, drier seasons. This extreme shield master is a magical ampoule enriched with essence type oil component for instant moisture surge. It effectively calm and takes care of white flakes and visible dead skin cells evident on dry, roughened skin suffering from piercing winter winds.
How to use:
Use the attached silicon brush tip of the ampoule to gently dab the formula over dry and flaky spots of the face. Suitable to be used under or over make up.
My background is white so it doesn't really help the fact that the tip is also white >_>. But the tip is made of silicone and there are little brush like fingers. HAHA this is the worst explanation, please excuse me.
1) Purederm shower jelly $6
2) Dr. MJ bee tox control cream $50
3) echoice hand therapy $2
4) Puresmile animal point pad $1
5) Derma lift intensiderm aqua rich cream $42
6) Touch by Lee Kyung Min extreme shield master $46
Overall this box has satisfied my monthly Korean cosmetic cravings. The product that made the box is the bee tox control cream for sure, that is the definite star product in the box. If it didn't have this cream, it would have been another meh box for me. I'm also super excited to try the extreme shield master since I have a flaky skin problem, especially during the winter time. I might even try the Derma lift cream since it sounds really moisturizing. We shall see. I give this box a 3.75/5 stars.
