Unboxing: Memebox superbox #65 korea's most wanted 2

This box totally came to me at surprised, and was delivered to my house without my knowledge. When I got the notice slip, i was like huh?  No box to my knowledge, was scheduled to arrive to my house so I thought it could be a Etude House box.  An hour after I found the notice, I saw the Memebox email and they said they have sent me the Korea's Most wanted 2 box for me to review.  Honestly I was surprised when they terminated the Memebox influencer program since I only got accepted recently and then was sent the Sally's box products to review for them and then the program was ended.  I was quite sad, but they they came out with a new program and I was invited.  Of course I was gladly accepted but I didn't think anything would come out of it.  So I'm super excited to do this unboxing for you, because well... you already know I'm a huge fan of Memebox already.  Hehe!  No surprised there.

So here it is, I'm babbling again keke.  Sorry~~~

$32.00 + shipping

I know this is an old box, but I do like to document the boxes so i could look back at it for fun and hopefully it is helpful for you guys too ;). Enjoy!

Looking like a solid box.  I'm regretting super hard I didn't get the first Korea's most wanted box, since in my head I told myself I already got the K-beauty wrap up so I don't need this.  Veritazy on instagram, memebox group and the makeuptalk forum has been raving and raving about the patting water and i can't believe I missed the restock on that box!  I was sleeping when they restocked.  I shouldn't have been sleeping!!! WHO NEEDS SLEEP ANYWAYS.  *Sarcasm*
Product mug shot line up~ Looks like a pretty solid box.
The first product is elRoel tone up starter SPF 50+ PA+++ Green retailing for $43 and contains 50 mL.  It comes in a plastic tube with a pump, measuring at 3 cm x 15 cm.  Smell-o-scale= 3/10 and fragrance= light powdery floral scent.

I have a slight problem, well I wouldn't say it is a problem since everyone has this "problem" , with redness around my nose, cheeks and a bit around my chin.  Nothing major but I have tried green make up bases that is suppose to cancel redness since it is the opposite color on the color wheel but it usually doesn't really do much.  I don't have high hopes for this product, but it does have pretty good SPF of 50+ which is always good since I always forget to put on some SPF before I head out the door. We shall see!

Product description:
elRoel tone up sun gel re-launched as the Tone up starter, still boosting its high UV protection leavel while newly equipped with tone balancing and skin smoothing features.  It'll work to fill in fine lines and wrinkles and brighten up the overall complexion, perfectly prepping the skin for a well-moisturized, long-lasting make up adherence.

How to use:
Apply directly to face at the first stage of base make up application.
I really appreciate tubed make up that comes with a pump, it is a lot more sanitary since less air gets into it therefore giving the product a longer shelf life.
 Ohhh so attractive LOL.
The picture does not do the color justice but in person, the cream has a mint green color to it.
Blended in, you can barely see the green.  Not sure if it can cover up my redness but we will see.
The second product is Hiello blooming Multi firming cream retailing for $50 and contains 50 mL.  This is a full sized product, smell-o-scale= 4/10 and it has a very very faint scent of rose.  The jar measures 6 cm x 4 cm and it comes in a glass jar with a tin lid.

I have never been a rose girl, and I actually wouldn't really be impressed with getting a dozen roses.  I'd rather get peony since they are cheaper and a lot prettier in my opinion.  Scent wise as well, I'm not a fan of rose scents and actually think they smell like fermented fart.  But because the rose scent is so faint in this product, I really don't mind.

Product description:
A richly concentrated ant-wrinkle facial cream formulated with a blend of poppy extracts, vitamin peptiude, collagen, green tea water, Damascus rose water and centella asiatica.  Smooth out sagging skin, brighten up dulled complexion, and rejuvenate stressed-out skin with the best of Hello blooming multi firming cream!

How to use:
Apply a small amount of the cream directly to clean face.  For an overnight pampering treatment once a week, thickly coat face with the cream, massage it gently, and take your beauty sleep without washing it off.

Oh yea... English ingredients?  Check!
Nice clean, sleek packaging.

The cream itself is again, more like the gel cream then a creamy cream.  I don't know if that make sense LOL but when people call something "cream", i expect it to be like a thick, butter like texture.  But I guess cream is just a general term to state it being a moisturizer :S.

This cream soaks into the skin nicely, fragrance is little to none after application, and moisturizes the skin well.
The third product is The tang tang kissy skin therapy peeling wash retailing for $23 and contains 100 mL.  This is a full is a sized product measuring at 4 cm x 16 cm.

I was making this post yesterday, when I wasn't sick but had a sore throat.  Overnight the cold progressed to full on nasty, runny nose, cough and sore throat.  So I will have to apologize that I can't really do a smell-o-scale when I can't really smell anything.  I myself has fallin' in love with peeling gel because they work so much better then just an exfoliator.  The holy grail peeling gel I have is the Secret Key Lemon D-toc peeling gel which has worked wonders for my dry and dead skin.  They all just come off, leaving my skin soft and dead skin free! Love it!  So I will have to see if this is just as good or doesn't even compare.

Product description:
A peeling gel designed specifically to target dry and sensitive skin types.  Regular peeling products contains unnecessary ingredients which makes it look like a lot of dead skin cells and skin impurities are rubbing away when applied.  The tang tang kissy skin therapy peeling wash boosts its gentle, nourishing formula made from only naturally-derived ingredients minus all the unnecessary skin detriments.

How to use:
Spread an adequate amount of the peeling gel over dried face.  Rest for about 40 seconds and just before it begins to harden, gently massage nose, cheeks and the rest of the face.  Rinse off with lukewarm water.  Do not use a soap or foam cleanser.

I was going to say that this peeling gel doesn't really do much, but after reading the description, it isn't suppose to be very peeling like the Secret key one.  I tried it on the back of my hand and didn't see any results, but I will have to keep trying it to see if it will improve the texture of my skin overtime.

The fourth product is Kskin Emu Leg R-free massage cream retailing for $46 and contains 100 g.  This is a full sized product, smell-o-scale= 8/10 and has a fragrance of menthol. The plastic tube measures 3.5 cm x 16 cm.

Very very strong menthol for sure, it reminds me of this menthol chest rub that my mom used to use on me when I was a kid and she would rub the sh*t out of my chest to the point it is all red and hot but i feel really good after.  I tried this product on when I was swatching, and it is super cooling, not sure if I have anything to slim down since I'm like a twig already. I'm one of those people that I eat and eat but don't get fat. It's my father;s genes okay, don't hate me T_T.  But this product feels amazing, and very cooling.  I can see myself loving this product during the summer time when it is blazing hot.  Slap this on and oh yea, I'm a walking ice cube :D.  Not sure about the emu oil though, poor emu.  I hope they didn't hurt the flightless birds to make this product or else I would be sad :(.  The emu picture in the front of the tube doesn't help...

This just popped into my head and this product would actually be really good for me!  I work 8 hour days, standing 7.5 hours of the time and when I come home, my body is super exhausted and sometimes I can't even stand because I'm so exhausted and my legs are just done.  This would be a great product for me and I can't wait to try it on my super tired body.  It would feel amazing after a long day of work ;).

Product description:
Made from "emu oil" rich in omega 3,6,9 (ahhahahaha multiplies of 3 eh?) and vitamin A, snail mucus extract (OH SNAP! I LOVE IT!!), peppermint oil, hyaluronic acid and menthold complex, the Emu leg R-free massage cream works to soothe, moisturize and destress your legs tired and stimulated from an exhausting day."

How to use:
Massage the formula over calves, waist, feet and other body parts in need of stress relief.
Poor emu :(.

This is a very light cream and soaks into the skin quickly.  It also makes the skin feel all mentholy (that's not a word) and calmed. Feels so nice~~

The fifth product is Ladykin one touch bling glow lipstick retailing for $11 and contains 3.5 g.  This is a full sized product and was randomly selected from 08 fall rose, 09 deep plum or 10 chic red.  I got the color 09 deep plum burgundy.

I honestly do not wear lip stick on a daily basis because I usually don't have the time or I'd rather just stay in bed and sleep that extra hour.  But when I do feel like wearing lipstick, I usually like something a bit sheer. I wear lip balm on a daily, sometimes I like the L'oreal caresse lip shines and I wear the occasional lipstick.  Surprisingly, I actually really like the texture and the look of this lipstick!  Scroll down and see why :).

Product description:
Create weightless, color-saturated lip shine you smooth on this Lady kin One touch bling glow lipstick.  It glides on silky smooth and leaves lips glamorized with captivating color radiance in just a single stroke.

How to use:
Start with a touch of color at the center of the lips and slowly to the outer corners.
This lipstick has a standard lipstick packaging, but it also has nice faint lettering on the lid that says one touch bling.
The color pigmentation is awesome, literally one swipe, the color looks like this.  Now it isn't like OCC lip tar pigmentation, but this is rich enough that it will show up on my heavily pigmented lips.
The lipstick is light weight, kind of sheer but it gives enough color.  It goes on smoothly and it doesn't feel heavy on the lips.  I actually might just wear this lipstick out! I'm impressed!  The color is super pretty, not to dark but not too light.  Just the right berry tone shade for the fall/ winter time :).
The last product is the face shop Calendula Eden essential moisture essence retailing for $9 and contains 35 ml.  This is a full sized product measuring at 4 cm x 11.5 cm and it comes in a glass bottle with a plastic pump.

I'm really glad we are seeing the face shop, etude house, innisfree, Holika holika products in our boxes.  They are really big korean brands but because they have so many products that they offer, I never know what I want to get from them.  That and that I can't just go into the physically store since we don't have any of them in Canada, so I wouldn't be able to test them out.  That's what's great about Memebox, it is like an introduction to Korean cosmetics without spending a ton on retail prices.  I have never seen this product in my life, but I will give this a try ;).  I hope it does "deeply moisturize" my skin like it says it will because i really need it haha.

Product description:
A richly concentrated facial serum that deeply moisturizes and smooths out uneven skin tone with the power of calendula eden compex consisting of calendula extracts and hyaluronic acid.

How to use:
After toner and emulsion application, apread an adequate amount of the essence evenly over face and gently pat it in with your fingertips for full absorbency.

Nice and light weight, soaks into the skin and again, leaves the skin smooth and soft :). Nice!

To be honest, when the box was finally shipped and I saw the spoilers for the second edition of Korea's most wanted, I wasn't really as impressed.  I didn't buy it either so I was kind of glad, but now that I actually got it and I read what the product does, it is a solid box!  I'm happy I get to use the Emu massage cream, as I have never tried anything Emu and it really is super calming on the skin.  I'm in love with the texture, color, moisture level of the Lady kin lipstick and a green base is always welcomed in my make up collection.  The peeling gel is already a thumbs up in my book and moisturizers are always welcome!  Overall, I give this box a 4.75/5 stars and I would recommend it :).

    1. Thank you :). Haha that is because we didn't expect anything to come out of the program, especially that they terminated the first program.
