Etude house March 2015 Pink bird (feat.Color in liquid lips collection + lip care goodies)

 Long time no blog.  I know I have been away for literally a month.  I've just been tired from work, and wanted some offline time to myself and just rest and relax.  But I am back with another pink bird un-boxing for you guys featuring the color in liquid lips collection.  This box also came with corresponding lip care products that goes perfectly with the lip colors.  I saw these lip colors all over instagram, youtube and blogs with amazing swatches which definitely sparked my interest.

The one thing that gets me in trouble is Youtube.  Youtube always makes me want to buy things, but usually the beauty products famous youtubers show are always products from Sephora which also means tons of $$$.  Dollar bills flying hurts my soul, so when I saw these featured in Pony's Beauty Diary videos, I knew I had to have it.  These are from Etude House and they launched these a couple months back (about five months or more) and they were a definite hit.  Sadly we don't have an Etude house in North America but no worries because there is Testerkorea :D.  No I am not sponsored by them (I wouldn't mind to be though...hint hint nudge nudge).  These were also featured in a past pink bird box but sadly I was not picked to be a pink bird box back then so I just jumped the bullet and got me a ton.

I know I know, no one needs so many beauty products, especially this many liners.  But  these are different!  I SWEAR! *These are words that come from a beauty hoarder*.  You can use this all over your face, not limited to just your eyes.  You can use these as a lip color, cheek color or eye liner/ eye shadow.

Sephora Birthday Gift 2015

 It is that time of year!  I used to look forward to birthdays when I was a child but you grow up and it is just another day.  But companies does a good job to make you feel special with freebies and promos just for your birthday month/ day.  Sephora, the best friend for all women, gives you a cool birthday give every year and may I say, the somehow seem to manage to top last year's gift year after year!  Last year was a Make up forever lipstick and black eyeliner, and this year it is..... *drumroll*.... NARS velvet matte lip pencils. And not one, but two of them!  And if you are a VIB rouge, they throw in an extra gift with is a "larger then life long-wear eyeliner" in the shade Via Venieto.

Luckily my birthday is in February so I get to enjoy it early hehe.  So this post, I bring you close up pictures and swatches for you curious cats.

Etude house Feburary 2015 Pink bird (feat. Chocolate collection, Precious mineral moist any cushion)

 I know Valentines has already pasted, but HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! Even if you don't have a boyfriend or a husband, it can also be a day to love yourself and treat yourself to something sweet, something pretty.  I'm excited to show you Etude House's latest collection, the Chocolate and some other new products even I was surprised to see in the box!  When I saw their collection on Etude house korea's instagram, I freaked out so hard because I really wanted to get the Too Faced chocolate bar palette but all the colors I had something in my collection that could have been duped so it was no point.  So When I saw Etude house's adorable and affordable collection, I was like..."I NEED EVERYTHING!"

If you don't know what Pink bird box is, it is not a box you can buy but a box kindly created by Etude House themselves which they send to hand selected bloggers to bring readers their latest collections.  Sadly you can not buy these boxes, but I will leave links to sites I trust online which you can get these products :), with affordable worldwide shipping of course!

The funny little short story behind this box, I got this box literally when I was still half asleep.  I had to run to the front door at 11:00 am when the mail man surprisingly was super early. After my usual mail lady who delivered all my memebox had been switched to a different route, the new mailman comes at 3:00 pm which is super inconvenient since that is the time I go to work, so I'd have to either wait til my parcel goes to the post office or even wait for the next day to pick it up.  I almost fell down the stairs because I was so scared the mail man would leave.  So I finally got to the door, still in my PJ's, hair worse then a bee hive and I still couldn't see clearly since my eye poop made my vision still fluzzy.  At my front door I see a mail man and a little pink package.  I was like oh nice! My very last Memebox (bittersweet moment), but I got upstairs and it was actually my pink bird box.  I was still half asleep but I was screaming for joy silently hehe.

Sorry for the super long store, hope you don't mind.  Hey at least this is just a blog post and you didn't have to go through a 7 min video hearing me babble right :)?

Dior cheek and lip glow first impression review and swatches

It's been quite a while since I posted anything here.  That's because I'm slightly heartbroken with Memebox breaking up with all their international customers, and that includes me.  I super uninspired lately, but let's get back into the groove.  I guess I will be shopping at lot more at Sephora from now on since they have interesting products (and hella expensive) and Testerkorea will be my best friend.  I ordered tons of Etude house play 101 pencils so you can be looking forward to that too ;).

Anyways, I somehow got a hold of this product in stores when it just came out and was suppose to be VIB rouge exclusive, meaning customers that have not reached the Rouge status can't buy it.  But sometimes they do get shipments in early and this was included when I went shopping for fun.  I have been eyeing this product since I love their Dior lip glow, so I automatically already excepted this into the glow family.

Etude house Chocolate collection

 One week ago, I saw this collection on instagram and freaked the F out LOL.  I have been eyeing the Too faced chocolate bar palette for the longest time even though I really don't need it since it is just another neutral palette, but the packaging just gets to me.  So when Etude house came out with this collection, it is the perfect dose for my craving!  Just look at it!

I saw an update on Etude house's page saying these will be coming out on Febuary 2, so in just four days these will be available.  I'm in love with the eye shadows, they're little dipped chocolate bars :D.  They also shared another facebook page that swatched all the eye shadows and nail polishes.  I'll be posting this in this post and add the link to the facebook page if you are interested. :)

Seriously even if I don't need anymore make up, etude house somehow has this magic mixture of enough girly and princess that won't make me puke.  I'm not the girlish girl, and I don't prefer pink over any colors, but everything etude house comes out with is perfect!!!! Makes me scream like a fan girl.

Maybelline January 2015 haul, first impression, swatches

 After watching tons of Youtube videos on the newest products hitting the drugstore, I couldn't help myself but to buy a few things for myself. Out of all the drugstore brands, Maybelline has the biggest collection that is new and fresh.  These are the few things I bought.  I didn't get everything since I don't need everything, but I most excited for their lipstick collection!!  They are so pretty~

Unboxing: Memebox superbox #71 my cute wishlist 4

 My cute wishlist 4, was one of the two restock boxes I bought recently.  There wasn't much choices, as the Vagabond box I wanted for the longest time still has not come back yet or I think it did, but I missed it :(.  So this one and volume up will have to do.  When this box first came out, it didn't really look that great but I think the Memebox drought got to me and suddenly this box didn't look so bad since you do get 8 products.

Unboxing: Memebox special #37 Wake up make up

This unboxing has definitely been long awaited.  I got this box two weeks ago, but got caught up in the holiday madness.  Two days ago, I finally got to do my surgery to get the lump in my breast removed, and no it isn't cancer (I say that in the most hopeful matter).  Right now I have two pillows under my chest so I can stand up right and type this haha.

When this box first came out, I really wanted to get it but I don't know why, I didn't get up getting. So I'm really grateful Memebox sent me this to review :).  Thank you!!

YSL volutpe tint-in-oil review

 When I was browsing the Sephora website during the Christmas time to see what I want to buy with the $20 off $50, I was slightly stuck since I bought everything I possibility wanted in the VIB 20% off sale.  So when I saw YSL coming out with a new product called the Tint-in-oil, I had to try it out!  That and it was exclusively being sold to VIB/VIB rouge, so I kind of felt a bit special hehe.

The product concept doesn't really excite me since there are such products in the Korean and asian market, but at least this is something I can play with and touch physically in stores rather then playing the guessing game when I buy my Korean cosmetics online.

I was really looking forward to this box since I love me some lip balms and lip treatments, but surprisingly this box came with a mix.  I was expecting all lip balms and such, but we got a few extra other things as well. I'm actually pretty happy with this box even though a lot of others did not like it. Now let's get into it!

Unboxing: Memebox special #70 cleanse and tone

 I am finally back with another unboxing.  I have been lacking in the unboxing department lately since the throbbing in my head got pretty bad making my head hurt all the time.  That and I am working a ton so when I come home, I'm crazy tired and just want to sleep.  So I apologize for the latest, but better late then never right ;D.

I have come to you with the cleanse and tone box.  I remember a lot of people were wishing for a box full of just toners, so when they came out with this box, I was like YES PLEASE and bought it right away.  I had super high hopes for this box since the first skincare box was amazing, the second edition one was great too.  When I saw the spoilers for this one, I was slightly underwhelmed but let's just see what products we got in this box!

 Also when I was taking pictures with my camera, I didn't notice that my white balance was off, so the pictures are leaning towards a blue tone.  I'm not happy about it but I don't have the time to take the pictures again. I promise that it will be fixed in the future ;).

Etude House December 2014 Pink bird box (Feat. Arctic Aurora collection)

I'm finally back!  I have been working everyday and I come home super tired and poopy.  Everyone else is enjoying their holidays, while I am serving them their food.  So I am finally back, I'm going to hold off sleeping tonight and do this post since I want to get this up already!  I have been super excited about this collection when I saw it on Etude House's instagram photo of the Arctic Aurora collection.  I'd have to say that their nail polishes in this collection is stellar, and after being wowed by the first pink bird box that came with three of their nail polishes, I fell in love with them.  So I was super excited, waiting with anticipation to get the arctic aurora polishes but sadly they did not come in this month's box.  :(

About a month ago, Memebox created five "thank you sets" featuring kocostar, YET, Ddung, benton and another brand that is not coming to mind.  Only the YET set caught my eyes because of the lip stain set of 5 different colors along with a liquid liner, 10 piece sheet mask, a lip and cheek cream and the set also came with a free gift all for the price of $30 which was an amazing deal in my eyes.  I used a $5 coupon code so the price came down to $25 plus free shipping.  At first I was going to pass, but then it was sold out and I got super sad.  After two days, it came back in stock and I knew if i didn't get it the second time, I'm totally going to regret it and I was definitely right.

Memebox has taken down the page for these sets, but this was the picture that they had on the set.  They also had swatches which was super helpful since they were an online item and we couldn't swatch them to see if we liked them. So I appreciate Memebox doing swatches for us and I hope they will continue to do that in the future.

Sephora black Friday 2014 haul

 Finishing off the black Friday hauls I did which isn't very much since I only went to two stores.  Nothing else was good.  I was hoping to get a good deal on the Macbook pro too, but there wasn't anything that great for me to splurge. But on the happier note, Sephora had some pretty amazing deals for only $10 for each item.  For those that shop at Sephora, you know that is a steal of a deal since you can step into the store and not wanting to buy anything and then step out of the store paying $100 for two products.  They have this $10 deal every year, and if you want to check the whole list, you can see it on Temptalia's blog page here.

I was eyeing one product indefinitely and would have been super heartbroken if I couldn't buy it and it was the bite beauty lip trio.  Just one of the mini lip glosses sold for $15, so for three for the price was $10 was definitely a steal.  The other products I was on the fence about were the Nest fragrance trio and maybe even the Tarte set if I could get my hands on it.

I tried to wake up at 6:30 am and get to the mall before they opened but I was slightly still sleepy.  I finally got out of bed at 7:30 am and bused to the mall at 8:45 am or so.  I was so scared that everything would have been sold out but I was lucky and everything was still there :D.
